Fade up from black. Shown from the viewpoint of an unknown male lying on a gurney, a group of medical staff and soldiers are rushing him down a pale green hallway with propaganda posters on the wall. The patient is in dire condition and the quality of his "sight" and "hearing" are therefore unstable; at various times his vision rolls, has oversaturated colors, blurs, and seems to skip back and forth in time.Time skips backward.
- Cassie: You're gonna be okay.
- Doctor: (in the background) His blood pressure's 135.
Time skips backward.
- Cassie: Can you grab my hand? (pause) You're gonna be okay.
Time skips forward.
- Cassie: (to the doctor) What's happening to him?!
Vision fades to black.
- Cassie: You're gonna be fine.
Vision flashes up from black. They are now stationary in an operating room.Time skips backwards.
- Patient: (breathing heavily)
- Nurse: (to the doctor) We can't get through his skin.
- Doctor: Get out of the way.
Time skips forward.
- Cassie: (to the patient) What are you feeling?
Time skips backward.
- Cassie: (to the doctor) He wants help!
Time skips forward.
- Cassie: (to the patient) What's going through your mind?
Time skips backward.
- Cassie: (to the doctor) Did you hear me?!
Time skips forward.
- Cassie: (whisper) What's he saying?
Cassie grabs the doctor's arms.
- Cassie: (to the doctor) You can't do this! Stop it!
Time skips backwards.
- Doctor: Hey! Move.
- Cassie: No, you can't do this! NO!
Time skips forward.
- Cassie: What are you doing?!
The guard grabs Cassie and drags her away from the gurney.
- Doctor: (to the guard) Get her out of here.
Vision goes black and a flatline tone is heard. The tone eventually staccatos into morse code.
- Cassie: You're killing him! Stop!
