This test is to be used in a one on one session with a trained administrator and the subjects reactions closely monitored.
There are four questions.
1. What is your favorite color? And what are three words that describe it. (For example, if the favorite word is 'yellow' then a word associated with it might be 'sunny' or 'happy'.)

2. What is your favorite animal? And what are three words that describe it.
|
|
3. What is your favorite body of water.
(NOTE: This should not be specific. I.E. 'river' is CORRECT. 'Mississippi River' is INCORRECT.) Three words to describe it.

4. You are in a white room with no windows or doors, what are three words that describe how you feel?
|
- After completing the test, the cards are re-displayed with small explanations clipped to each.
|
Question one,
What is your favorite color? reveals your ideal self.
Not necessarily your actual self, but the self you deeply, unconsciously aspire to be.
|
|
Question two,
What is your favorite animal? reveals your ideal companion.
This could be romantic, or could be, for example, the soldier you would most want at your back in a fight.
|
|
Question three,
What is your favorite body of water reveals your ideal for the act of love.
|
|
Question four,
You are in a white room with no windows or doors, what are three words that describe how you feel? reveals the way you feel about death.
If your fears include words like dissolve, dissolution, loss of personal boundaries, or contamination, your test administrator will refer you for specific additional testing.
Your results will be forwarded and you will be contacted if your results indicate a need for further examination.
