from degravedi:
At the end of the first game, the main character, Sergant Nathan Hale, is taken into custody "by a squad of soldiers wearing unusual insignia, appearing to be some form of special forces, known only as the Black-Ops, a name given to them in the multiplayer mode." In R2, the story starts with him being taken to the Special Projects Research Administration (SPRA) where he finds out that "there are others like him that are resistant to the Chimera virus who have been collected together from around the world by the SPRA. The result is a task force called The Sentinels."

July 1

GamePro magazine releases a featured story about Resistance 2 for PS3, containing a detailed pamphlet and link to Getawarjob.com.

The featured story about Resistance 2, the sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man contained a mock-up four page pamphlet, titled "Popular Technologies", with a visible url for the website GetAWarJob.com (link), and a phone number to join the US Military: 866-931-9417 (the phone message can be heard here)

July 3

The Popular Technologies pamphlet contained a cryptic puzzle which was quickly solved, leading to ProjectAbraham.com (link)

ProjectAbraham.com displays a video with morse code heard at the trailing end. The lead female appears to be Katee Sackhoff (of BSG fame), her name - Cassie.

  • This video can be directly downloaded here.

Morse code at the end of the video found on Projectabraham.com leads to a new page - ProjectAbraham.com/Blackout (link)

ProjectAbraham.com/Blackout displays a tabletop, on which is a photograph of seven men in military uniform. The photo can be picked up and moved around.

July 8

A letter from Col. Grant Thompson to Dr. Cassie Aklin has been placed on the Blackout tabletop.

Dated: November 3, 1950
Subject: Re: Suspension of Clinical Trials
Summary: Due to Capelli's results, the project has temporarily put on hold until further notice. Cassie is commissioned to review six soldier candidates to choose the next for injection, each now being held at the Alaskan military compound.
(text transcription)

The second video now plays on visiting ProjectAbraham.com.

  • This video can be directly downloaded here.

July 14

Projectabraham.com now includes a countdown in the footer, to Tuesday July 22, 12:00pm Pacific.

July 15

The third video is available on Projectabraham.com

  • This video can be directly downloaded here.

A second letter has appeared on Projectabraham.com/Blackout from Col.Thompson to Cassie

Dated: November 6, 1950
Subject: Re: Clarification of Duties
Summary: The project team will be recommending three soldier candidates for Cassie to choose from for injection. She is to monitor the candidates psychologically before, and if necessary, after injection.
(text transcription)

July 22

Projectabraham.com's countdown reaches 0, and a plethora of content is unloaded. Dossiers for 7 soldiers are available for review, to decide who of 3 soldiers will first be tested by injection; voting closes Friday, 11am AKDT. Capelli is the soldier in the first videos, already injected.

DO NOT CALL Humboldt Land Surveying - (via humboldlandsurveying.com) the owner of the company and website in Nevada is not related to this campaign.

  • Humboldt Surveying Company is referenced in a letter in Capelli's folder - googling the name links to "Humboldt Land Surveying" - this is not the same company and the owner was quickly overwhelmed and bothered with phone calls. DO NOT CALL

AmericaFirstAmericaOnly.com is discovered (direct link)

A number of newspaper clippings are avaible for viewing posted on a bulletin board.

An email/telegraph is received from the Alliance for American Autonomy

It's clear that the AAA is working against the war department, and want to expose Project Abraham. Included is the phrase "AMERICA FIRST AMERICA ONLY" (which leads to AFAO.com)

July 25

The first vote ends, resulting in Brown receiving the next injection. A number of additional content is available.

Sergeant Channing Brown receives a 59% vote from the public. A new video records his reaction on being informed by Cassie - Psych. Office Surveillance, 11/10/1950, and two documents (a post-vote psych report, and a partial fax from the SRPA) are inserted into his dossier.

An audio message from Cassie is available, documenting her personal reaction to the vote.

A new letter appears in the Project Abraham Inbox.

From: Thad Mornton, Security Officer
To: All Project Abraham staffers
Summary: A memo warning PA staff about SRPA terminal abuse. Staff are told not to associate with the AAA, accusing them of spreading propaganda.
(transcription)

A new issue of Alliance for American Autonomy is posted to the American First - America Only bulletin board.

Articles:

A terminal to the SRPA is discovered at terminal-srpa.net (direct link) via an article in the new Alliance for American Autonomy newsletter

The Special Research Projects Agency has a publically accessible (though relatively secure) terminal at terminal-srpa.net. The AAA, via the article want to know its secrets, accusing them of spreading propaganda.

July 29

Brown's injection results are in, documented in a video, his dossier, and the PA Inbox.

Channing Brown did not survive. Cassie inserts a number of items in the candidates' Dossiers - Psych reports on the reactions from Danby, Oster, Gennaro (also the fact that he's the new candidate for the second vote). She also reported lab results to PA's Inbox.

The Second vote is open - candidates are Gennaro, Danby, and Oster.

Cassie expresses grief in having to include Gennaro in the selection, written in a Psych Report in Gennaro's dossier.

The US War Department Office of Psychological Profile (OPP) sent Cassie a copy of the Freiberghen Open-Association Test (Personality Test) to help analyze the candidates.

The Personality Test is also available to be taken online, by answering a series of questions, then optionally including contact information for further updates and/or additional testing.

AFAO has set up a tip box on their site, looking for top secret government documents stamped with a special "Document Control" number.

Following AFAO's prompting to seek out DCNs, a trail is kicked off.

  • Using the SRPA Terminal, Brown's personal effects are available for viewing. A letter from a contact in the UK contains a hidden message leading to a secure login for the Terminal. Once identified with this login, access is granted to secret documentation about Brown's past (as described in Brown's uncensored file EU9377Debrief) that reveals more about the "Influenza" outbreak, eventually leading to the first Document Control Number, which can be sent to AFAO using the tip box.

July 31

Cassie begins calling contacts who registered at Projectabraham.com with their mobile number. (listen/transcript)

Cassie's call is a (pre-recorded) message encouraging people to help her by visiting Projectabraham.com.
Also, it's Katee Sackhoff!

August 1

Oster is voted as the next injection candidate. His dossier is updated with Cassie's psych report, as are Gennaro's and Danby's.

Sergeant Oster receives a 73% vote from the public. A new video records his reaction on being informed by Cassie - Psych. Office Surveillance, 11/17/1950, as well as an updated Psych report.

Oster is overheard talking with Hale about a past event, which is transcribed and filed in SRPA.

Oster has a bad dream and wakes up to tell Hale about a run-in with "Elden Stockmeyer" at a protest rally in Florida, who was raving about monsters, conspiracies, Paris, the government, and more. Oster assaulted him because he wouldn't shut up, after he'd been handcuffed.

Oster confronts Cassie after being informed of his selection - the video is added to PA.com.

Cassie reflects on the vote results, and recalls a memorable run-in with Hale. (Audio)

AFAO posts the third issue of Alliance for American Autonomy, revealing the results of the first document control number search.

The cover article and second article discuss the enemy photographs recovered from the SRPA Terminal. A third article remembers Sgt. Brown as the latest PA victim. The final article recognizes the first five 'vigilante citizens' to report in the first DCN.

August 5

Oster's injection results are in and documented in a video, his dossier and the PA inbox.

The test results are unresolved - Oster began attacking an orderly and was eventually shot to death by a soldier before the serum could be administered.

New psych reports are made by Cassie, for Khaner (the new selection, whose induction video is also available), Capelli, Danby, Gennaro, and Hale.

Khaner has been selected as the new injection candidate, and the third vote begins with him, Gennaro and Danby.

The U.S. War Department deems the personality test results "unexpected" and sends Cassie a Rorschach test to follow up with.

A new SRPA Terminal number in Oster's dossier leads to another hunt for a document control number.

Cassie again calls contacts who registered at Projectabraham.com with mobile number, reminding people to vote the next day. (listen/transcript)

Cassie's call is a pre-recorded message as before, encouraging people to help her by visiting Projectabraham.com.

August 8

The AAA releases issue 4 of America First America Only.

The issue critizes the Liberty Defense Perimeter plan for allowing millions to die in the initial invasion.

Khaner is voted as the next injection candidate. His dossier is updated with Cassie's psych report, as are Gennaro's and Danby's.

Khaner's dossier also includes an audio transcript where he reveals he failed heavily on a 'placement exam' (which is circled in red) with the number 826478 written next to it. This leads to a new SRPA Terminal file - PE826478

Cassie reveals and records her thoughts on Khaner and Hale. (Audio)
